Palestinian supporters protest on University of Arizona campus [Video]

TUCSON, Ariz. (13 News) – Several Palestinian supporters hosted a peaceful protest on the University of Arizona campus on Monday, April 29.

A 13 News crew on the scene said close to 100 people set up an encampment at the school Monday morning.

The University of Arizona said earlier in the day it had been monitoring the situation and while it supports the First Amendment, it would enforce the rules. The school said anyone still protesting by 10:30 p.m. would be arrested.

While some protesters told 13 News they would not leave, the area was cleared out by 10:15 p.m. and the University of Arizona Police Department confirmed there were no arrests.
