Police also released photos of two suspects they said were responsible for the break-in at Aurora West College Preparatory Academy.
AURORA, Colo. — Photos released Wednesday show that an Aurora school was littered with shards of glass after two males broke into the school late Monday night.
Aurora Police shared photos of two males they said broke into Aurora West College Preparatory Academy, at 10100 E. 13th Ave., around 11 p.m. Monday.
The damage wasn’t discovered until about 5 a.m. Tuesday when police responded to the 6-12 public school for a report of a break-in. Aurora Public Schools said the damage was “significant” and as a result the school was closed Tuesday while the school was cleaned. It reopened on Wednesday.
Police shared photos of the suspects and asked the public to help identify them. In one of the photos, one of the suspects appears to be carrying a large rock.
