COLUMBUS, Ohio — Several groups are looking to launch a new designated outdoor refreshment area, or DORA, in downtown Columbus later this spring.
The proposed plan, announced as “Center City Dora,” is a result of the 2022 Downtown Strategic Plan. The DORA would span from East Franklinton to Fourth Street in downtown Columbus, covering roughly 0.62 square miles.
Downtown Columbus, Inc., Franklinton Board of Trade and Capital Crossroads Special Improvement Districts are hoping to implement the DORA by next month.
