Most people believe in the American promise: that our country should be a land of equal opportunity for all to freely thrive. But behind the scenes, MAGA extremists have a detailed plan to take away our freedoms. It’s called Project 2025. It’s a “presidential transition project” blueprint for overturning our democracy and stripping our American rights, and is the basis for a new book, “Mandate for Leadership; the Conservative Promise,” but few people have heard of it.

This highly detailed policy agenda would gut our civil service, strip hard-won union protections for workers, restrict the government’s ability to protect our reproductive rights, LGBTQ rights, civil rights, and climate-change efforts, accelerate attempts to privatize Medicare and provide a MAGA president like Donald Trump with almost unrestricted power.
