A joint investigation has led officers to identify more than 23 cars and multiple individuals who participated in the illegal street takeovers.
SAN DIEGO — San Diego Police and California Highway Patrol seized more than a dozen cars involved in two illegal street sideshow takeover events in San Diego County.
Officers from SDPD and CHP seized 13 vehicles through court orders, SDPD said. Two people were arrested on felony vandalism, reckless driving and speeding charges.

The car seizures and arrests stem from two different illegal sideshow take-over events that occurred in February and March.
