PUEBLO, Colo. (KKTV) – Some students at Colorado State University-Pueblo hosted an anti-war demonstration Tuesday. The pro-Palestinian group, consisting of students, alumni, professors and community members, demanded the University take action when it comes to the on-going conflict.
The protestors’ demands included CSU-Pueblo fully disclosing where they invest their money, divesting from any corporations operating in Israel, not accepting grants or funds from corporations that have ties with the U.S. Armed Forces, and stopping their study abroad programs from going to Israel.
CSU-Pueblo student and protest organizer, Breeanna Guerra Rodriguez, says hosting a protest in support of Palestine is an extremely worthy cause to her.
