Raiders to provide electric vehicle charging stations at Allegiant Stadium [Video]

LAS VEGAS, Nev. (FOX5) – The Las Vegas Raiders will offer electric vehicle charging stations at Allegiant Stadium through a partnership with NV Energy.

The power company deemed the agreement a “monumental stride towards sustainable transportation and tourism” in a media release. In addition to the Las Vegas Raiders, hotel-casino properties across the state have all committed to achieving sustainable tourism with EV chargers and have worked closely with NV Energy to ensure that EV charging stations will become more readily available in the future.

“Our collaboration with the Las Vegas Raiders and other destination partners marks a significant milestone in our efforts to promote sustainable transportation and environmental stewardship,” said Doug Cannon, President and CEO of NV Energy. “As our tourism economy continues to grow, we are strategically expanding access to electric vehicle infrastructure to ensure prominent EV accessibility for residents and visitors alike.”
