Raising money for brain tumor patients [Video]

CHARLOTTE, N.C. (QC Life) – More than 90,000 Americans are expected to receive a primary brain tumor diagnosis in 2024, and according to estimates, almost 19,000 of them will die as a result of that diagnosis.

To reduce those numbers and help individuals who have been impacted by the disease, the National Brain Tumor Society is hosting its 10th fundraiser, the annual Carolina Brain Tumor Walk & Race on Sun, April 13 at the Community House Middle School.

We invited Holly Gainsboro, the chair of the Carolina Brain Tumor Walk & Race Committee and Michelle Scollins, the associate director of corporate partnerships with the National Brain Tumor Society to give us the details of the event.
