REDDING, Calif. – The Redding City Council on Tuesday could give final approval to its 2045 General Plan.
The council will hold a public hearing on the plan, which has been in the works for the last three years. It covers policies governing land development, community safety and housing availability over the next 20 years.
The current plan was adopted in October of 2000 and is based on the census of that year. If the new plan is adopted, the current plan will be repealed.
The Redding City Council is meeting at 5:30 p.m. in the council chambers.
