HOUSTON (KTRK) – Family members and neighbors are demanding answers after police say a 74-year-old woman was found shot to death in her apartment at a Houston senior living community.

Police say 74-year-old Carol Webber, a retired teacher, was found shot to death at 2:30 p.m. Saturday on the floor of her apartment at the Treemont Senior Living Community in Houston. There are no suspects or a motive.

One of Webber’s neighbors says the 74-year-old mentioned someone knocking on her door during late hours, and several other neighbors reportedly experienced the same thing.

With no arrest in the case, residents and their families are demanding answers, and they say Treemont’s management isn’t providing them. They also allege management did not notify them of the …
