Roje Stona starts rookie mini camp with the Green Bay Packers | KLRT [Video]

FAYETTEVILLE, A.R. (KNWA/KFTA) – Former Arkansas track and field discus and shot put star Roje Stona began rookie mini camp with the Green Bay Packers.

Stona, who ended his collegiate eligibility with second place finish in the NCAA Indoor National Championship in the Shot Put and setting a school record, went through the Arkansas football Pro Day process talking to scouts from around the country.

Now, Stona is competing to make the Packers 52 man roster come the fall. The Jamaica native met the qualifying standard for the discus for the 2024 Paris Olympics and could represent his home country this summer.
