The 49ers announced their campaign launched in May 2022, in partnership with the California Natural Resources Agency (CNRA), to print special license plates with the tagline “Faithful to State Parks” was successful on April 15.
The team needed to obtain 7,500 pre-orders by May 2 for the plates to be printed; the CNRA has received over 8,000 orders as of Wednesday, according to the California agency.
