Temperatures will stay well above normal for most of next week, with a chance of showers and storms on Monday. The rain chances will begin to decrease Tuesday and temperatures will increase next week. We could have some of the hottest weather of the year by Wednesday.
Thursday was mainly sunny and hot. Highs were in the middle and upper 80s. The Columbia airport reported a high temperature of 89 degrees Thursday afternoon. Temperatures will likely be a touch cooler today, but still above normal. Highs will be in the middle to upper 80s.
