CONVERSE, Texas — Our “Forgotten Friends” series showcases a dog or cat each week that has spent a lengthy time at an area shelter, just waiting for someone to notice them and bring them home to love.
This week’s Forgotten Friend is a senior dog named Tessa that was brought back to the Converse Animal Shelter in 2020 because she was being picked on by another dog in the home. She had been adopted into that home in 2015 after being found as a stray.
The shelter staff says that Tessa’s birthday is on February 27, 2012, making her 12 years old now. But don’t let that age fool you because she still has plenty of spunk left in her.
