SheyWest considers moving out of West Fargo after safe access request is denied [Video]

WEST FARGO, N.D. (Valley News Live) – SheyWest Garden Center owner Jodi Kallias, is speaking out after a motion for safe access to her West Fargo business failed to a 3-2 vote at the West Fargo City Commission Monday night. Kallias took to social media on Tuesday, saying “Unfortunately, the city of West Fargo – Government showed its colors again last night. And it was not green and garden center friendly.”

Kallias has been fighting with the city since opening in 2020, to allow for better access to her building. Currently, SheyWest customers have to make a U-turn on 40th Ave. in order to turn into their parking lot. “It’s been a huge safety concern,” Jodi Kallias told Valley News Live in 2022. “People when we first opened were parking and driving over cones.
