Simsbury, Conn. man arrested in spouse’s murder: Police [Video]

SIMSBURY, Conn. — A Simsbury man is accused of the murder of his spouse on Friday.

A family called police to a home on Wildwood Road just before 11:30 a.m. for a domestic assault. The family told police there was a fight between two relatives.

Arriving officers found Qiu Rongfang, 49, suffering from life-threatening injuries.

Rongfang was taken to an area hospital where she later died, police said.

Ding Sheng Lin, 50, was taken into custody and charged with murder, police said.

This is an isolated incident and there is no danger to the public.
