SPIRIT LAKE, Iowa — A Spirit Lake man was arrested Monday after authorities say he interfered with firefighters at the scene of a fire.
Dickinson County Sheriff’s deputies were called to the 1400 block of 193rd Avenue in rural Dickinson County at about 9:30 p.m. According to court documents, Caleb Crosby had showed up at the scene and interfered with firefighters who were putting out hot spots and investigating the cause of the fire.
Crosby refused to leave and resisted arrest when deputies were taking him into custody. He was found in possession of brass knuckles, a small plastic baggie containing methamphetamine and a glass meth pipe.
