ST. LOUIS — St. Louis singer-songwriter Michael B. Whit, known for his electrifying anthem “Red October,” will be showcasing his talent by performing the National Anthem at the St. Louis Cardinals Opening Day.

“Red October,” co-written and produced with music heavyweight Joe Capo Kent & Flea, has captured the hearts of Cardinals fans with its high-energy tribute to the team’s storied legacy. Whit, a lifelong St. Louisan, infuses the song with the city’s baseball passion, paying homage to Cardinals legends like Musial, Gibson, Ozzie, and Molina.

“This performance is not just about the anthem; it’s a celebration of St. Louis and its love for baseball,” says Whit. “Drawing inspiration from Tina Turner’s power and Hank Williams Jr.’s grit, ‘Red October’ is a rallying cry to support the Redbirds and honor the essence of the game.”
