BROOKINGS, S.D. (Dakota News Now) – Some of this year’s best and brightest students were recognized on Saturday in Brookings at the Touchstone Energy Scholar of the Year Banquet.
The event recognized students featured each week during Dakota News Now’s Scholar of the Week series.
Three scholarships were awarded including two $500 scholarships and one $1000 scholarship.
Dakota News Now morning anchor Erik Thorstenson served as emcee for the event and SDSU President Barry Dunn delivered the keynote address.
