Teacher Appreciation Week: Louisa County – [Video]

LOUISA COUNTY, Va. (CBS19 NEWS) — They say teamwork makes the dream work, and that could not be a better saying for Louisa County’s Educator and MVP of the Year.

“They have energy, they have passion, something that we see all across our school division, but they bring it every day,” said Doug Straley, the superintendent of Louisa County Public Schools.

Ms. Dalton and Ms. Sites have been a tag team at Thomas Jefferson Elementary School for many years.

The impact they have made goes far beyond the classroom, the Louisa community can see the light they are bringing to students everywhere.

“They bring the 5 C’s to life every single day through communication, collaboration, critical thinking, creativity, and citizenship. They bring it to life every day and it is certainly an honor to see them recognized as our educator and MVP of the year,” added Straley.
