The 13th annual Wings & Tails event is right around the corner [Video]

MERIDIAN, Miss. (WTOK) – The Mississippi Council of the Navy League has brought the Lauderdale County Community together for a total of 13 years with the Wings & Tails event.

On Tuesday, May 7th, the 13th annual Wings & Tails fundraising event will be at the historic Key Brothers Hangar at Meridian Regional Airport.

The purpose of this fundraiser is to provide continuous support to the missions and members of the U.S. Navy, U.S. Coast Guard, U.S. Marine Corps and the U.S. flagged Merchant Marine. This includes Northeast Lauderdale High School’s NJROTC and the Naval Air Station (NAS) Meridian.

The “social hour” will begin at 5:30p.m. and dinner will kick off at 6:30p.m.

After admission, there will be a variety of food choices to choose from such as catfish, shrimp, chicken wings, potatoes and corn.
