The day of the total solar eclipse is finally here, which means that state parks all around Arkansas are beginning to reach capacity!

ARKANSAS, USA — The day of the total solar eclipse is officially here, which means that State Parks all around Arkansas are beginning to fill up! 

According to Arkansas State Parks, some locations have already reached their capacity as many flock to the scenic parks with just hours remaining until the historic event. 

Here’s a look at which state parks have closed due to full capacity: 

  • Dardanelle State Park
  • Mount Nebo State Park
  • Pinnacle Mountain State Park
  • Crater of Diamonds State Park
  • Lake Frierson State Park
  • Davidsonville State Park 
  • Mammoth Spring State Park
  • Lake Charles State Park (90% capacity)
