Thousands gather to see former President Trump in Saginaw County | Politics [Video]

FREELAND, Mich. (WJRT) – Former president Donald Trump made a stop in Saginaw County for a campaign rally Wednesday evening.

Thousands of supporters waited in line for most of the day for the chance to see the former president in person. At one point the line stretched over a quarter of a mile.

“Got to see Trump,” said Scott Sheets who traveled from Montcalm County to listen to the former president. “We’ve got to get America back on track.”

Getting America back on track was a theme, both from supporters and Trump himself.

“I think a lot has happened in the last four years and people’s eyes have been opened up to some hardships that we didn’t have four years ago,” said Stephanie Johnson.
