LINCOLN, Neb. (KOLN) – Another quiet weather day is forecast for the day on Thursday as the forecast is headlined by some cooler temperatures and another outside chance some isolated to widely scattered showers or thunderstorms in the afternoon to early evening.
Skycast keeps skies mainly clear overnight tonight and into Thursday morning. Into the afternoon, north and northwest winds could be a bit breezy at times, gusting between 20 and 30 MPH. With the daytime heating and some upper level energy, some widely scattered showers and isolated thunderstorms will be possible in the afternoon. Severe storms are not forecast, but some rumbles of thunder will be possible. Most areas will likely stay dry and those areas that do some rogue rainfall, won’t see much. Mostly to partly sunny skies in the afternoon should give way to mostly clear skies by Thursday night.
