Tiny Doors ATL artist commissioned to design Fulton County gift for dignitaries [Video]

ATLANTA, Ga. (Atlanta News First) – The artist behind Tiny Doors ATL was just commissioned by Fulton County to design and craft an art piece for dignitaries who meet with county officials.

“This opportunity to give this small gift to the world, is something that I just couldn’t resist,” said Karen Anderson Singer, the artist behind Tiny Doors ATL.

And fittingly, the unique art piece is tiny.

“What you’ll see here is the Fulton County library, you see a little peach for Georgia, we’ve got Ebenezer Baptist Church, the Fulton County government building, our new Animal Services building, a little Peachtree street,” said Singer, while putting the final touches on her design.

This month, the Fulton County Board of Commissioners approved an $8,000 contract with Singer to build 20 art pieces for dignitaries, celebrities, and distinguished guests.

“I think it’s very specifically Atlanta to take something that’s small, feel that it’s real, and help it grow,” Singer said.
