BOWLING GREEN, Ky. (WBKO) – We are officially 5 days away from The Great American Eclipse set to take place on April 8, just after 2 p.m. central time.
The path of totality will be just to the north and west of our viewing area, where complete darkness will be experienced for about four minutes.
Most of the viewing area will have a limited view as clouds will be in the area. At this time, partly cloudy skies are forecasted for Monday with a 20% chance of showers. Temperatures will warm into the lower to middle 70s.
From a national view, most of the path of totality will have a limited view. As of Wednesday evening, the most likely to have no cloud cover is in portions of eastern Missouri, northeast Arkansas, northwest Tennessee, southern Illinois, and northeast portions of the United States.
