TYLER, Texas — Employees at Trane are picketing this week in Tyler to demand better wages as the cost of living increases.
They are also seeking personal time off and sick time without having to provide documentation of a doctor visit. The workers said they want Trane to understand the hard work their employees put into the product.
In a statement from Trane, the company said its team is committed to working through the negotiations process with union representatives to reach a “fair and mutually beneficial contract agreement.”
The current union contract is scheduled to expire May 18 at midnight.
