Trump Attorney Excited for SCOTUS Decision in Immunity Case [Video]

Will Scharf, a member of former President Donald Trump’s legal team representing him in his presidential immunity case, told Fox News’ Martha MacCallum on Thursday afternoon that he’s “excited” for the Supreme Court to render its decision after the two sides participated in oral arguments that morning.

“We felt this morning’s arguments went really well. And I say that primarily because it was clear that the justices were deeply concerned about the future of the office of the president, about the future of the American presidency,” remarked Scharf at the outset of his conversation with MacCallum. “If they didn’t provide some sort of legal safeguard against exactly the sort of political prosecutions we’re now seeing brought against President Trump. So we were heartened by the fact that the justices were taking these core constitutional questions very seriously, and we’re excited to see what they come down with, probably before the end of the term at the end of June.”
