President Joe Biden signed into law war aid that will give over $60 billion for Ukraine. This war aid comes after months of struggle with republicans in Congress.
Ukrainian parliament member Oleskiy Goncharenko said though the help comes later than hoped for, it’s great news to hear.
“It’s a bit of a late decision, but it’s not too late. So we are very thankful for this, and we will do our best to use this support in the best possible way,” Goncharenko said.
Goncharenko said the war situation is terrible, and that this money will help save lives.
