He’s battled Australia’s unpredictable wildlife and desolate outback roads.

But having made three-quarters of a lap of the country on his motorbike, it was something else that stopped US adventurer Max Cramer in his tracks.

“I’d rather hit an emu going 110km/h and have to be medevac’d back to the States, than had my bike stolen,” Cramer, who has been documenting his journey on Tiktok, told 7NEWS.com.au.

“This is not how I wanted it to end.”

While staying in Brisbane, Cramer woke up on April 10 to find his beloved bike gone from his Mount Gravatt sharehouse.

“I don’t know too many details other than I woke up, and it was gone,” he said.

“I have to assume they rolled it out and threw it on a ute.”
