BEREA, Ohio — Heading into the final day of the 2024 NFL Draft, it’s been a fairly uneventful weekend for the Browns so far.
They didn’t trade up or down on Friday night, instead selecting Ohio State DT Michael Hall Jr. at 54 and Michigan guard Zak Zinter at 85.
A quick reminder of the picks Cleveland has left:
- 4th Round: No pick.
- 5th Round: 156th overall (from Philadelphia, through Arizona).
- 6th Round: 206th overall (from Baltimore).
- 7th Round: 227th overall (from the Titans); 243rd overall.
So what should they do next? I vote keep it boring.
While I wouldn’t be opposed to trading away those two seventh-round picks (it’s probably worth taking one more look at how GM Andrew Berry has traded them away in recent years), I think there’s still a couple of key offensive positions where the Browns could be looking for late-round depth: tight end and running back.
