Whitney Flack announces candidacy for city council [Video]

WICHITA FALLS, Texas (KAUZ) – Wichita Falls citizen Whitney Flack announced her candidacy for city council today in Hamilton Park, the park she had a hand in improving.

Flack is campaigning for the District 1 spot on the council, currently occupied by Michael Smith who has met his term limit. Flack’s platform is built upon job growth, public safety, and responsive city government.

Flack said the decision to campaign was a lengthy process.

”[It took] a lot of prayer and thought. We decided as a family that we were ready to do this and thought that it would also be a pretty good example to our family, to our young kids about how to be involved in your city,” Flack said.
