Three people are dead following a bi-state crime spree that started in Dubuque County, Iowa, and ended with a police stand-off in Dane County, Wisconsin.

Three people are dead following a bi-state crime spree that started in Dubuque County, Iowa, and ended with a police stand-off in Wisconsin.
Just after 7 p.m. on Wednesday, April 10, the Dubuque County Sheriff’s Office responded to the 9800 block of Haxybylane Road in rural La Motte for a report of an unresponsive person. Investigators found 32-year-old Tana Poppe dead at the scene.
Investigators later learned that Poppe had two children, a 13-year-old girl and a 5-month-old, but neither was present.
