PORTLAND Ore. (KPTV) – A woman is suing the City of Portland and other government agencies after hitting a pothole that she claimed caused several injuries.
The woman is suing the City, State of Oregon/ODOT and Multnomah County for $3.6 million for negligence and demanded a jury trial.
She claimed she drove over a pothole on Capitol Highway between Alfred Street and Huber Street that caused her to “abruptly and forcefully lift out of the seat of her car and hit her head,” causing her “severe and permanent injuries.”
The woman claimed she had a concussion, traumatic brain injury (TBI), tinnitus, torn rotator cuff, cuts, scrapes and bruises as well as emotional distress, PTSD, anxiety and depression.
