BLOOMINGTON, Indiana (WSAZ) – Much of Indiana was enveloped in momentary darkness on Monday, April 8, 2024, during the Great American Solar Eclipse.
WSAZ Meteorologist Brandon Butcher and Anchor Rob Johnson were in Bloomington, Indiana on Monday where thousands gathered to turn their eyes skyward to catch the celestial event.
A plane was recorded flying through at the moment of totality in Indiana.
Some airlines used the eclipse as a selling point, offering flights along the path of totality.
Another total solar eclipse will not happen for another two decades.
