The City Manager of Anderson confirmed with Action News Now that Chief Jon Poletski will retire on June 13. Chief Poletski became the police chief for the city of Anderson in September of 2021 and has served for over 24 years in law enforcement.

ANDERSON, Calif. – Jon Poletski, the Anderson Police Chief, will be retiring.

The city manager of Anderson confirmed with Action News Now that Chief Poletski will retire on June 13. Chief Poletski became the Police Chief for the city of Anderson in September of 2021 and has served for over 24 years in law enforcement.

Joey Forseth-Deshais, the City Manager, also said in the coming weeks, the city will begin a nationwide search and recruitment for a new police chief.

Earlier this year, Poletski was placed on leave and came back as Police Chief on April 1.
