NEW HANOVER COUNTY, N.C. (WECT) – Crews responded to a rollover crash on I-140 near Castle Hayne Thursday morning, March 28, according to New Hanover County Fire Rescue.
“Rescue 11 and Engine 17 reported to a traffic incident this morning where they had to perform a vehicle extrication on I-140 outside of Castle Hayne,” an announcement from NHC Fire Rescue states.
According to a New Hanover County representative, the driver of the car was transported to Novant Health New Hanover Regional Medical Center with injuries.
“Our roads are slick today with the showers, give yourself extra time and grace and keep our roads safe,” NHC Fire Rescue adds.
