District 89 consists of Greene, Guilford, and Hamilton townships and Chambersburg Borough.
A graduate of Greencastle-Antrim High School, Kauffman earned his bachelor’s degree in political science from the American University School of Public Affairs in Washington DC.
In his current role as representative, he serves as the republican chair of the Judiciary Committee. The committee deals with numerous issues including criminal justice reform, firearms, family law, and crime victims.
