Here’s what to know about Rob Kauffman (R) [Video]

FRANKLIN COUNTY, Pa. — Incumbent Rob Kauffman (R) is poised to keep his seat as the Pa. House Representative for District 89 running unopposed in the Republican primary elections in April.

Kauffman has served as representative for the 89th District since 2004. His current term will be ending in Nov. 2024.

District 89 consists of Greene, Guilford, and Hamilton townships and Chambersburg Borough.

A graduate of Greencastle-Antrim High School, Kauffman earned his bachelor’s degree in political science from the American University School of Public Affairs in Washington DC.

In his current role as representative, he serves as the republican chair of the Judiciary Committee.  The committee deals with numerous issues including criminal justice reform, firearms, family law, and crime victims.
