James Daniel Buie, DC, 55 Of Batavia [Video]

James Daniel Buie, DC, 55, of Batavia, passed away Tuesday, April 2, 2024. There will be no services held at this time. Memorials may be made to the Agriculture Department at Maharishi International University or to the family c/o Lilian Buie 300 E. Madison Ave. Fairfield, Iowa 52556.

Dan was born February 4, 1969 in Marshall, Missouri, the son of James Joseph and Sara L. (Vickrey) Buie.

Dan was a chiropractor, farmer, and agriculture professor at MIU. He loved his farm, nature, spending time with his children, livestock shows, fishing, hunting, and cooking.

Those left to honor his memory include his daughters, Vivian Buie of Rochester, Minnesota and Lilian Buie of Fairfield; and son, Simeon Buie of Batavia. He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Alan Buie.
