Well, that’s depressing.
I’ve seen multiple references online to “bloodbath.” The 190-member Nasdaq Biotechnology Index fell 3.4 percent on Day 1 of JP Morgan, the worst opening day of trading during the conference since 2001. Everything from tiny biotechs to large drugmakers were down.
A total aside, but was a Bloomberg anchor really unaware there is a such a thing as gene editing (1:50 in the video above)?
