Man arrested after allegedly breaking into a Spokane nonprofit twice in 1 week [Video]

SPOKANE, Wash. – Spokane Valley Police arrested a man that broke into the same Spokane nonprofit twice in one week.

On April 9, police responded to a suspected burglary with a damaged front door which was later used to access the business again later that week.

On April 16, at 3:00 a.m. police responded to the second suspected burglary in progress at the Spokane Valley Partners on East Broadway Avenue.

After gathering information police established a perimeter with the suspect barricaded in the basement. Police requested K9 units and made multiple attempts to contact the suspect and get him to surrender.

After no response from the suspect, police and K9 entered the building and made contact with the suspect. The suspect appeared agitated, and police informed him he was under arrest to which he answered, “for what?”
