Montgomery to hold annual remembrance event for homicide victims Tuesday [Video]

MONTGOMERY, Ala. (WSFA) – “An Evening of Remembrance” is returning to Montgomery for the fifth year, and the Montgomery County district attorney’s office is encouraging the entire community to come out and show their support Tuesday.

DA Daryl Bailey’s office hosts the annual event as a way of supporting the families, friends, and neighbors of crime victims as they honor the memory of the loved ones they lost to violence.

“Every life that is lost in our community is a loss for our entire community. We must vow to ensure victims’ families are continually supported and have access to the services they need,” said Bailey. “We must also all work to look for answers and find solutions to prevent these senseless deaths from occurring.”
