Newsmax host Rob Finnerty grilled Rep. Andy Biggs (R-AZ), a former chair of the House Freedom Caucus, on Monday over the state of the Republican conference in the House.
Biggs pushed back against the conference being described as “chaotic” by critics despite Rep. Majorie Taylor Greene’s (R-GA) recent threat to vacate House Speaker Mike Johnson (R-LA) from his position. Johnson has been publicly criticized by a number of House GOP members who did not support a $1.2 trillion spending package, passed last week just before a partial government shutdown would have kicked in.
“In the House, congressman, you think things are good for the Republican Party?” Finnerty asked Biggs as he painted a positive picture of House Republicans.
“I think that we get along better than most people would think,” Biggs said.
Finnerty then listed off Republicans who have “abandoned” Biggs in the House and shrunk the Republican majority to one.
