Ohios casinos and racinos see gains in March [Video]

CLEVELAND, Ohio — Gambling revenue at Ohio’s casinos and racinos was up in March, marking the second time in three months that Ohio’s gambling revenues have improved year-over-year.

The state’s 11 casinos and racinos collected a combined $223.5 million of revenue in March, up from $217.7 million in March 2023, according to data compiled from Casino and Lottery commission reports. This is the money kept by the gambling houses, after paying out winnings, but before state taxes and fees.

Revenue was up in March and steady in February, but it was down in January. Through three months Ohio has recorded $596.8 million of gambling revenue at casinos and racinos, down from $611.6 million at this point in 2023.
