Patrick McCaffery will transfer to Butler [Video]

CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa (KCRG) – Former Iowa forward Patrick McCaffery will use his sixth and final season of eligibility at Butler University.

The former Iowa City West standout, and son of Iowa head men’s basketball coach Fran McCaffery, played in 123 games with the Hawkeyes, averaging 8.5 points per game.

Butler, which is located in Indianapolis, finished 16-18 last season. The Bulldogs were 9-11 in the Big East conference, finishing 8th in the conference standings.

McCaffery’s brother, Connor McCaffery, is on staff with the Indiana Pacers.
