NORCROSS, M.N. (Dakota News Now) – Braylen Schmidt is a senior at Wheaton Area High School, and she says it’s important to be kind to others.

“Just be nice to everybody around you because you never know what the person next to you is going through, and that’s just another thing I’ve kept in mind is that everybody has got their own story,” said Braylen.

“Her strong point is her kindness and her ability to be caring to everyone… and a great sense of humor that just makes her fun to be around,” said Wheaton FACS/FCCLA teacher Jane Oachs.

Braylen also sets a great example. She’s a 4.06 GPA student. She also stays busy outside of the classroom, especially in sports like cross-country, basketball and track and field.
