US: Indian-Origin Man Shot Dead By Texas Police During Arrest In Domestic Violence Case [Video]

An Indian-origin man was shot dead by police in the United States after he allegedly tried to hit two officers with his BMW car as they were trying to arrest him in relation to a 911 call, reported PTI on Friday. Sachin Kumar Sahoo, 42-year-old native of Uttar Pradesh, was killed in retaliation by a Texas police officer Tyler Turner on April 21 in San Antonio. Sources suggest that Sahoo could have been a naturalised US citizen.

According to the primary investigation, the incident took place in the evening on April 21 when Texas police officers were dispatched to a home in Cheviot Heights in San Antonio for a report about Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon, PTI reported.
