In a groundbreaking development, researchers have invented a new medical device that can make brain surgery safer and more effective.

Notably, engineers and physicians from the University of California San Diego (UCSD) and Massachusetts General Hospital (MGH) together have developed this device.

Current brain surgery techniques require neurosurgeons and electrophysiologists to work in separate areas of the operating room. This can lead to communication delays and potential errors.

It is in this context that this new device is highly beneficial. The new device will streamline the process by providing real-time visual data directly at the surgical site.
